Welcome!
We've been working hard over the past few months to get the Kiva API ready for developers. The wiki is a place where you can find information on what we are planning next for the API and the Kiva Developer Program in general. Also archived is historical information on the design an specification of past releases. The Kiva Developers Wiki is aimed at making our plans for developers as transparent as possible.
Our primary developer destination is build.kiva.org, and while we continue to flesh that out, you'll find some very important information on the wiki as well:
- Application Ideas - We've collected some of the ideas from friends, users, staff, and other developers to help get the gears turning on your own application.
- Developer Support- get listed on Kiva.org, learn about GetSatisfaction
- Open Source Projects- check out what's in development and help collobrate
- Toolkits, Sample Code - A list of code contributed by the community around the API. Contribute or use to kick start your own project.
- Events- Join us to build Kiva and meet other do-good techies
Check out the new Kiva.org page: the Kiva App Gallery. Have a live app you want to share with the world? Let us know: build (at) kiva [dot] org
